Mike Blankenship: I’m joined by one of my favorite persons in the world, Adeel Rouf. Adeel, tell us a little bit about yourself.
Adeel Rouf: Thank you, Mike, thank you for having me today. My background is primarily in investment banking. I worked at firms like Sumitomo Mitsui and J.P. Morgan. In 2017–2018, I joined Cohen & Company, where I worked with the Cohen family on SPACs — that’s where I learned SPACs from one of the leading serial sponsors.
In 2020, I started doing SPACs as a sponsor, partnering with PE firms and successful individuals. Since then, I’ve been involved in about 10+ SPACs, raising over $2 billion in SPAC IPOs and about $5 billion in de-SPAC transaction volume.
Currently, I serve as CEO and President of Voyager Acquisition Corp., a $253 million healthcare-focused SPAC led by our chairman, Warren Hussainian. We recently announced a $1.3 billion de-SPAC transaction with Veraxa, where you are our counsel. I’m also President and CFO of Titan Acquisition Corp., a fintech-focused SPAC that raised about $277 million, led by our chairman, Frank Mastrangelo.
